Types of Eurobonds | ||||||||||
Eurobonds can be classified in the following categories: |
| Straight | Fixed rates with fixed redemption |
| FRNs and VRNs | Variable rate note |
| Subordinated issues | Bonds where the bondholder’s right to payments (principal and interest) is subordinate to the right of creditors. |
| Assed-backed issues | Bonds where the credit of the securities depends segregated assets. |
| Convertibles | Bonds that can be exchanged for shares, at a predetermined price. |
